About Me

Hi, my name is Brandon Ting.  I am currently studying at the University of Toronto for a BA in History of Religions and Philosophy.  I am training, through prayer and Scripture and community, to be a full-time minster.  I hope to preach or teach the Bible after I am done school.

The purpose of my site is to challenge Christians unto holiness through various discipleship resources.  I hope to achieve that through my blog articles, practices and book recommendations.  Nothing I publish has been written without prayer and Scriptural reflection because I know that it is only through God's Word and the Holy Spirit that disciples are made.  I want God to use my blog to raise men and women of God.  May God be glorified.

Finally, here are some fun facts about me:

1. I am a random piece of dust that God loves...which makes me not random or dust...?

2. Jesus is my favourite person.  He's so cool, funny and even more than that, he's redeemed me, forgiven me and loves me.  Abiding in Him now is life to the full!

3. I love teaching.  I've wanted to teach ever since I was in around Grade 6.  I aspire to be a Bible teaching virtuoso.

4. I like shawarma.  Like, a lot.
